Mamoiada. A Sardinian village in the heart of the Barbagia.

Obtained from the marc of our red Cannonau grapes, these grappa is carefully distilled in small alembic stills by using the discontinuous distillation method. On the nose it displays a medium intensity with well marked floral and fruity notes, in particular jam, and a very characteristic balsamic note. Despite its high alcohol content it is distinguished by an excellent balance and pleasant flavours reminiscent of the variety.

Abbardente Mamuthone - Affinata

These grappa is obtained from the marc of our fermented Cannonau grapes. After a careful distillation and after being kept for 12 months in inert containers, it matures in oak barrels for another period of 12 months. Straw-yellow in colour it displays a medium intense, perfectly balanced bouquet with well recognizable scents of spices, characteristic for oak-aged grappas, such as coriander, cinnamon, a hint of liquorice, chestnut honey and tobacco. The palate is warm and round with flavours of wood, toast and cinnamon. Excellent balance of primary and tertiary aromas.
